CREATE A PEACEFUL FLOW STATE

Using music and forms to provoke a superior state of mind.

Based on rythm, Rheo uses the music Flower Dance to create a symbiosis between music and the environment while telling a short story. Too short and too deprived of gameplay to be called a game. Rheo is nothing but an experiment made to research the state of mind called "Flow".

My aim on this exercise was to use the relationship between movement and rythm, in particular musical rythm. The Flow can be considered the Holy Grail of sensation while playing. And I had absolutely no idea how to provoke it. So I based my reflexion on my own perception and considerations, and with that I had a starting point. A perfectly timed sequence, where image and sound echoed each other. A "gimmick" that has never failed to dazzle me. With that in mind, I worked relentlessly toward my goal and managed to create the 2 minutes experience that is Rheo.
